My Story
Why I made this
I used to keep four half-finished planners in a drawer because starting a new one felt easier than admitting I'd failed the old one. Turns out that's not a discipline problem, it's a design problem. Most planners assume you can sit down and do the thing, in order, every day, like clockwork. I can't. Maybe you can't either.
I got diagnosed with ADHD later in life, after years of calling it laziness, or being "too much," or just bad at being a person. Gentle Reset started as the system I built for myself once I stopped trying to force my brain into someone else's structure.
What I do differently
I don't sell discipline. I make tools that work with how your brain actually functions, not against it.
I pay attention to the science of how dopamine, focus, and attention actually work, and build around that instead of ignoring it. I keep things low-stimulation and calm, because a pretty planner that overwhelms you isn't actually helping. And I talk about the real stuff: the "why can't I just start" moments, the late diagnosis, the years of thinking you were doing life wrong. You weren't.
One honest note
I share what I've learned about ADHD and neurodivergence because it helped me, not because I'm a doctor. If any of this is landing hard, talk to an actual professional too.
